PARENTVUE ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY SWMetro provides parent access to ParentVUE to further promote educational excellence and enhance communications with parents. ParentVUE allows parents to view their child's attendance, schedules, grades, and homework assignments at SWMetro. Start the school year off right by using ParentVUE online parent access to stay on top of your student's attendance and progress at SWMetro. For the privilege of accessing ParentVUE, every parent is expected to act in a responsible, ethical, and legal manner. ParentVUE is available to parents or guardians students enrolled in select SWMetro programs. Please see your student's instructor to confirm that ParentVUE is used in their program. Users of ParentVUE are required to adhere to the following guidelines: 1. Parents will not share their passwords with anyone, including their children. 2. Parents will not attempt to harm or destroy data of their children or of another user, school or district network, or the Internet. 3. Parents will not use ParentVUE for any illegal activity, including violation of privacy laws. Anyone found to be violating laws is subject to civil and/or criminal prosecution. 4. Parents will not access data or any account owned by another parent. 5. Parents who identify a security problem with ParentVUE must notify SWMetro immediately, without demonstrating the problem to anyone else. 6. Parents who are identified as a security risk to the ParentVUE program or District computers or networks will be denied access to ParentVUE. Only by signing and returning the agreement below will you receive access to ParentVUE for your student at SouthWest Metro.
